We are a small team of public school and outdoor educators who believe that, now more than ever, kids need an opportunity to experience positive connections with nature and others. We created Kidventures Mammoth Lakes to fill the hole left by cancelled sports programs and summer camps due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We are experienced outdoorspeople with a passion for sharing the wilderness with your wild ones.
We also believe it is important to give back to our community, which is why a percentage of every camp will go toward creating safe, low or no cost outdoor programming during the school year for the youth of Mammoth Lakes with working parents. Every child needs the opportunity to get outside and find freedom and joy in this beautiful space we share.
Liz is a children's librarian and elective teacher. She is excited to return to her roots in outdoor education as director of Kidventures Mammoth Lakes. Liz has been working, running, managing and creating curriculum for youth camps and summer programming for 18 years. She believes that all children are innately curious and, to quote Albert Einstein, that "play is the highest form of research." Liz enjoys bagging peaks, catching lizards, and sharing stories in forts made of branches and pine needles. She is First Aid and CPR certified.

She has held a Wilderness First Responder credential for over 15 years, along with adult and infant CPR, has a Single Pitch Instructor credential, and recently took a swift water rescue course.
